Kale chips are not like your typical “chip” in that they are light and airy but still pack a nice crisp to satisfy your cravings.
I love whipping up a batch of these when I’m hanging around the apartment all day – it helps me avoid munching on “bad” things haha. Every time I make them, I try using different seasonings – spicy, sweet, salty, etc… So far, every batch has been a home run. I even lightly burnt some this weekend and they were still tasty thanks to the chili seasoning on them. Seriously, whatever you’re craving – just season these guys to suit it and you’ll be a happy (and healthy) camper :)
Below is a basic recipe for making fool-proof kale chips.
Warning: These chips are seriously addictive.
Enjoy!

Easy Kale Chips Recipe
Ingredients:
1 bunch curly kale (I like using 1/3 bag cut and ready kale from Trader Joe’s)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 pinch sea salt
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 300°F. If using fresh bunches: rinse kale and gently massage with hands until leaves appear darker in color. Use kitchen shears to remove stem from each leave. Cut leaves into pieces (about 1″ x 2″ or larger) and toss in bowl with olive oil. If using pre-cut and cleaned kale, simply toss in a bowl with olive oil. Spread into thin layer on cookie sheet and sprinkle with salt and any additional seasonings. Bake for about 10 minutes or lightly crispy – be careful not to burn them! If leaves are still soft, continue baking and check in 2 minute intervals. Allow to cool slightly and enjoy!
Those look great
